Lunchtime Supervisor

We are currently seeking to appoint Lunchtime Supervisors to work in our friendly and caring school. Our lunchtime team work together to ensure a happy and safe lunch environment for all our pupils.

The post will initially be offered on a temporary basis, term-time only for 5 hours 25 minutes a week, Monday to Friday (12 p.m. to 1.05 p.m.)

The successful candidate will:

  • Have strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with children and colleagues
  • Be able to work as part of a team
  • Be able to demonstrate a flexible attitude to work
  • Be reliable, enthusiastic, caring and motivated
  • Ideally have previous experience of working with children

 

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Any offer of employment will be subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure, the receipt of satisfactory references, a pre-employment medical questionnaire and sight of relevant original ID, right to work in the UK documentation, and qualifications required for the role.

Applicants who have lived or worked overseas in the last 5 years must obtain a certificate of good conduct or appropriate criminal records information for the time that has been spent overseas. Teachers that have taught overseas will be requested to provide a letter of professional standing issued by the regulating authority in the country in which they worked.

We conduct online searches for shortlisted candidates (not including social media). This check is undertaken based on the requirements set out in Keeping Children Safe in Education 2023. The check helps us to ensure safe and robust checks on the suitability of individuals to work within our School.
