KS2 Class Teacher (TMS 1-6 ) - Fixed term for 1 year

We are currently seeking to appoint a class teacher with previous or current Key Stage 2 experience to join us from September 1st 2024 (on a fixed one-year contract). 

 

We are looking for a teacher who is highly ambitious for the children of our school, enabling every child to be their best both now and into their futures, by making learning appropriately challenging and interesting and providing children with a wealth of opportunities. 

You must be a dedicated, thoughtful, driven, hardworking individual who has a passion for teaching and believes in the difference they can and will make.

 

You will need to be a patient, caring and positive individual in order to match our welcoming, inclusive, calm and friendly ethos.

You will be provided with an environment in which they can continue to develop professionally, and where your voice is heard through an open, positive atmosphere, where strong relationships between staff, pupils and families are at the root of everything.  You will be working in a collegiate, ambitious, community-based atmosphere - and one in which a sense of humour is warmly welcomed! – through which everyone is striving to be their best and where staff want the very best for every child.  You will need – and be supported - to be determined, reflective, adaptable and resilient in order to enable high rates of progress and outcomes for all.

  • a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure

Lunchtime Supervisor

We are currently seeking to appoint Lunchtime Supervisors to work in our friendly and caring school. Our lunchtime team work together to ensure a happy and safe lunch environment for all our pupils.

The post will initially be offered on a temporary basis, term-time only for 5 hours 25 minutes a week, Monday to Friday (12 p.m. to 1.05 p.m.)

The successful candidate will:

  • Have strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with children and colleagues
  • Be able to work as part of a team
  • Be able to demonstrate a flexible attitude to work
  • Be reliable, enthusiastic, caring and motivated
  • Ideally have previous experience of working with children
